The Kentucky Communication Association promotes effective teaching, research, and practice in the artistic, humanistic, and scientific principles of communication.
The Kentucky Communication Association was established in 1931 for the promotion of effective teaching, research, and practice in the artistic, humanistic, and scientific principles of communication. KCA is dedicated to serving its membership while increasing the visability and effectiveness of communication professionalism in Kentucky. KCA is a not-for-profit organization comprised of communication faculty, students, and professionals who are committed to studying, improving, and applying the principles of communication within the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Our membership is open to anyone interested in the communication discipline, defined very broadly. We are high school teachers, university faculty, students, and practitioners all dedicated to advancing a greater understanding of human communication.
